When & where I began this sport.
|
I recieved my first motorbike, a Honda 50, at 5 years old, and after riding a friend's race bike on the track I was hooked. I began the sport of racing motocross at 7 years old in the 50cc 7-8 year old class. I got the privilege to race in the Supercross Challenge in December 2006. I raced locally for the first couple years of being on the mini bike, and eventually began travelling around B.C. and racing in the Arenacross Series in Chilliwack throughout the winter. I qualified and raced in Provincial and National events, placing 2nd in the 50cc 7-8 yr old class in Raymond Alberta (National) and 1st in Campbell River (Provincial). |
Most memorable achievement in this sport.
|
My most memorable achievement has been placing 3rd at the Canadian TransCan national, in Walton, Ontario on August 11-14, 2010. After an excruciating battle with heat, competitive talent and 44 riders on the line, I managed to make my way to the podium with a 3rd place finish overall. Setting the goal of placing top 3 made this a memorable achievement. |
Most influential person in my life.
Sporting philosophy/moto.

'To train hard, and enjoy the sport. Once you don't enjoy racing anymore, you don't have much at all. Eating good, and staying healthy leads to success, as well as maintaining a balance of work and play. Show the crowd how you can ride, there is no need to tell them, they can see for themselves. It is important to appreciate everything people contribute to your racing needs, because without their support you would have not made it this far in the sport. |
