WELCOME TO TEAM GREEN CANADA!

Canadian Kawasaki Motors and our nationwide dealer network is proud to support Canadian amateur and (non-factory) pro riders in Motocross, Arenacross, Cross Country, Enduro, and Flat Track events. Highlights include:

  • Grand Prize: For 2021, one Team Green rider with the most championship points in the 2021 Kawasaki Team Green program will be awarded a Grand Prize of either a 2022 KX, KLX or Kawasaki Genuine Parts & Accessories credit.
  • Contingency: The 2021 Kawasaki Team Green program also allows any registered Team Green rider to win contingency payouts for top five finishes in their championship.
  • Race Support: Eligible Team Green Riders can access preferred pricing on Genuine Kawasaki parts and accessories through Team Green Race Support.

2021 KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN PROGRAM

This program runs from April 1st, 2021 – October 31st, 2021.

MOTORCYCLE ELIGIBILITY
New or used 2018 or newer KX or KLX models  are eligible to compete for Team Green Contingency Credits and the Team Green Grand Prize.

To be eligible for this program, motorcycles must be distributed through Canadian Kawasaki Motors and registered in the rider’s or parent/guardian’s name. Lime Green must remain the dominant color and current “Kawasaki” logos must be visible on the machine. Riders must upload a photo of their KX/KLX to their Team Green profile and they must be following Canadian Kawasaki Motors on Instagram and Facebook.

 

GRAND PRIZE
Canadian Kawasaki Motors will award a choice of 2022 KX, KLX or Kawasaki Genuine Parts credit to the 2021 Team Green rider with the highest amount of points accumulated on the Grand Prize leaderboard. Each rider’s Grand Prize scorecard is calculated by selecting a rider’s 6 best regional and national results (top 5 results across all disciplines and regions plus 1 national event). Riders who participate in a national sanctioned amateur event will receive bonus points for that event.

Previous Grand Prize winners of the Team Green Rider Support Program are not eligible to win a Grand Prize within two years of their previous win. Previous Grand Prize winners (within 2 years) will be given a $5,000 (before tax at MSRP) Parts & Accessories credit and the Grand Prize motorcycle will not be awarded.Employees of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc., affiliates, dealers or subsidiaries and members of the immediate family and household of each are not eligible for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize will not be awarded to Quebec residents due to Société des Loteries du Québec policy.

GRAND PRIZE RESULTS REQUIREMENTS
Riders must submit race results within 45 days of the event after which the race will be removed from the list and riders cannot submit their results. Only official series results will be accepted. Official results from each series will be verified by CKM.

Only positions 1 to 10 earn points. Riders can earn points in one class per VIN. Each vehicle identification number (VIN) must be registered to only one rider at a time. Riders with two or more approved VINs will be eligible to submit results for 3 classes per event. There must be a minimum of six (6) riders in a class for points to be awarded. No points will be approved in classes of less than six (6) riders. Did Not Start (DNS) is considered non-entry.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS
Racers in MRC-sanctioned Regional Motocross Championships, Off-Road and Flat Track supported series are eligible to receive points. For championship points to be awarded, the series must be comprised of at least six rounds, with exception to Off-Road racing which must feature a minimum of four rounds for Championship points to be received. Riders must submit their Championships points via “Add Results” page within 45 days of winning the championship. Submissions will be verified by Canadian Kawasaki Motors according to the aforementioned guidelines.

BONUS! Amateur MX national event contingency
Riders who earn an Amateur National title (Walton TransCan, Eastern Canadian Amateur National or Western Canadian Amateur MX National) will earn 30 points per National title win (maximum of 2 x National titles/ 60 Points can be earned per event).

LADIES MX POINTS
MX Ladies points earned are eligible towards to MX Ladies contingency amounts in addition to the Grand Prize. Female motocross riders must select the “Motocross” discipline during the creation of their profile and enter their results in the appropriate Ladies MX class.

GRAND PRIZE POINTS SUMMARY
Points will be awarded to those riders achieving a final combined moto position of 10th or better as follows:

1st place - 15 Points (*30-points for an Amateur National Championship win)
2nd place - 12 Points
3rd place -10 Points
4th place - 7 Points
5th place - 6 Points
6th place - 5 Points
7th place - 4 Points
8th place - 3 Points
9th place - 2 Points
10th place - 1 Point

*Points will only be calculated for a rider’s best six regional and best two national results.


CONTINGENCY CREDIT PAYOUTS
In 2021, Kawasaki Contingency will be given to registered Team Green riders who place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th in the final championship standings in any one discipline (Motocross, Arenacross, Flat Track, or Off-road) for an approved championship in each region. Payout amounts are:

**Contingency for the Walton Transcan event will be paid by check. All other contingency will be issued as credit notes redeemable at participating Kawasaki dealers.

Only registered Team Green riders will be accepted. Riders must specify in which classes they will race at the time of registration. Following the 2021 racing season, results will be verified and winners will be emailed a ‘Team Green Contingency Credit Letter’ detailing the contingency earned. Kawasaki Contingency may be redeemed at any Kawasaki dealer across Canada towards KX or KLX Motorcycles or Kawasaki Genuine Parts & Apparel. Recipients must redeem their credit within six months of receipt.

REGISTER YOUR WINS WITH TEAM GREEN CANADA

All riders must register on teamgreencanada.ca to be eligible for contingency. Eligible riders must have a valid email address, phone number and home address to register and to receive Team Green Program updates and approvals.

ENTER YOUR TEAM GREEN WINS
To claim points, submit your race results to the teamgreencanada.ca site within 45 days after the event. On teamgreencanada.ca click on the icon ADD RESULTS and select the race event. Choose the discipline, race class and which KX/KLX was raced with the overall rank received in that event. After submitting, you will receive an email confirming the submission.

Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. will review the event results for accuracy. You will receive a notification email once results are approved. It is the rider’s responsibility to submit their own race results within 45 days. Rider profiles will show all results submitted to date and approval status.

ENTER IN MULTIPLE CLASS AND EVENTS:
Points accumulated in amateur national events (Walton, Western Amateur National and Eastern Amateur National) will accumulate with the Regional Event Points and first place will receive 30-points for an overall event win.

Points accumulated in different eligible classes within the same discipline within the same region will be combined. Only one eligible motorcycle can be used to collect points per class at the same event. Points accumulated can only be combined in one discipline/region except for the Grand Prize Leaderboard.

All events are subject to change without notice. Check the eligible list of events on a regular basis for cancelled or added events.

PROFILE UPDATES: If a rider edits their profile after it has been approved, they will need to wait for a re-approval before updating race results. Previously approved bikes (and the ability to submit results for previously approved bikes) will not be affected while the new bike is pending approval.

RACE SUPPORT
Race Support for Team Green riders includes 20% off MSRP of a one-time order of Kawasaki Genuine Parts & Accessories and 50% off *select Kawasaki Matrix products in a one-time purchase through their partnering Kawasaki Team Green dealer.

Please note that there is a limited quantity of Team Green Race Support packages available. Canadian Kawasaki Motors reserves final approval on riders who are accepted into the 2021 Team Green Race Support Program.

GENERAL RULES
By entering the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program, entrants agree to comply with the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program Rules and with the decisions of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. as they relate to the program. By accepting a Prize resulting from the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program, Prize winners agree to release, remise and forever discharge Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc., its parent, and all affiliates thereof from any claims, liabilities or damages incurred in connection with the delivery, installation, use and care of the Prize.

All rider profiles must be received and approved no later than October 31st, 2021 to be eligible unless re-scheduling of events warrants as updated, on teamgreencanada.ca. Entries that are incomplete, late, lost or irregular in any way or sent by a method deemed unauthorized by Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc., are void and will not be eligible or accepted at the time of the program close (October 31, 2021).

Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it finds to be in violation of these Team Green Rider Support Program rules or tampering with the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program process. Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. reserves the right to refuse an entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to participate.

Every Kawasaki rider must conduct himself/herself in a reasonable manner. Inappropriate behavior including the use of alcohol, drugs, or abusive language at an event will result in disqualification from access to the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program.

Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Any attempt by anyone to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program is in violation of criminal and civil laws and Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. reserves the right to seek damages or other legal remedy to the fullest extent permitted by law.

All decisions of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. in connection with this 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program are final and binding in all respects. Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this program without notice or obligation. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prize is non-transferable.

Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries and release documents or for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any network lines, computer online systems, telephone, hardware, software, server, providers, e-mail, player, browser or technical malfunctions that may occur (including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry) howsoever caused. Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program. Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. is not responsible for any damage to entrants’ computer or any other computer, related to or resulting from participating in the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program. If, for any reason, the 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program or cause it to not comply with any applicable law having jurisdiction over Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc., then, subject to regulatory approval when required, Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program without notice.

PRIVACY
Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. and their parent and affiliates may, from time to time, upon consent of the entrant, use the personal information provided in connection with this 2021 Team Green Rider Support Program to: (i) contact the winning entrant for the purpose of delivering the Prize; (ii) contact entrants directly regarding products and services provided by contest suppliers, Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. and their parent companies and affiliates; and (iii) research the effectiveness of the websites and the marketing, advertising and sales efforts of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. and its parent and affiliates.
