Rider of the Month - Tallon Unger

Alberta strong!

I have been very fortunate growing up in Alberta because there are a lot of races and the competition is very fast here! Also, this year I have been traveling to BC to do their provincial races for more experience and to learn different tracks. I've been on Kawasaki's Team Green Racing Program for two years now and won last year's top points award! I definitely want to let the good times roll!

Current Residence: Langdon, AB

Years Riding: I've been riding since I was 3 and a half.

Favourite Trick: Whips

Current Bike: 2015 KX85 and 2012 KX100

Favourite Bike Ever: My KX100 that is built by Pro Circuit into a 109cc. It is so fast!

Riding Influences: I really like how Chad Reed can race for wins even when he is much older than most other racers. He has raced and beaten the best riders from Carmichael to James Stewart.

Personal Influences: My mom and dad help me so much with riding and racing that  I can't thank them enough.

Number of Broken Bones: So far, none!

Favorite Place to Ride: California Cahuilla Mx ranch because of the sand and big jumps!

Music: I don't really listen to music.

Hobbies: Downhill skiing and playing video games

Goals: I have been riding and racing a lot this year and am hoping for a top three position in supermini at this years Western Canadian Amateur Nationals in Raymond, AB.

Accomplishment you are most proud of: I am very proud that I finished 3rd overall in the 2015 CMRC Canadian Supermini National Championship and also that I won the 2009 50cc 4 to 6 Western Canadian Amateur National title at Raymond.

Message to kids: I would say that if you want to be good at something, you need to practice lots and if it's competition, then not giving up and always believing in yourself.
